Our Story
Designing Meaning
Where African heritage meets contemporary expression. Fashion that carries story, craft, and identity.
Who We Are
Aika was born from a desire to bridge worlds. To honour the richness of African craft while creating something unmistakably modern. Rooted in the experience of the diaspora, we design for people who carry multiple cultures within them.
What We Stand For
Heritage & Craft
We draw from centuries old textile traditions. Adire, Aso Oke, hand dyed indigo. Preserving techniques passed down through generations while giving them new life in contemporary silhouettes.

Our Process
Made by Hand,
Worn with Meaning
Every Aika garment begins with the hands of skilled artisans. Our Adire fabrics are hand dyed using resist techniques that date back centuries, while our Aso Oke is woven on traditional looms with each pattern carrying cultural meaning.
From raw material to finished piece, we work closely with makers across West Africa, ensuring fair wages and sustainable practices while keeping these vital traditions alive for the next generation.

Community
More Than Fashion
Every piece is an invitation to wear your heritage proudly, wherever you are. We celebrate the beauty of the in-between — designing for people who move between cultures and carry multiple identities within them.
Our community stretches from Lagos to London, New York to Nairobi. Wherever our pieces travel, they carry the stories of the artisans who made them and the traditions they preserve.
